We believe that Spirit lives in us, not just above us.
We are sacred, seen, and sovereign—descendants of survivors and divine ones.
Our stillness is not weakness; it is resistance.
Our healing is not optional; it is holy.
Our Blackness, our wounds, our journeys, our joy—none of it separates us from the divine.
We reject theologies that silence, shame, or shrink us.
We embrace the sacred texts of our ancestors, not to be controlled—but to be empowered.
We draw from the Bible and other sources of spiritual truth, wherever they are found.
We find wisdom in Southern gospel, Haitian candles, Ethiopian chants, Native songs, and the whispered hymns of our grandmothers hearts.
We believe that every altar is a battlefield and a birthplace.
We know that Spirit speaks in Creole and English, in dreams and grief, in side-eyes and gospel runs, in laughter, and in the rhythm of our bones.
We commit to walking with Spirit—
Not as perfect people,
But as people who are becoming.
This is our creed.
Sacred. Bold. Unapologetically ours.
We are living in this world while staying spiritual—
and nothing about that is small.
